It halts at the current position and only descends slowly when you engage the pressure release valve. Safety Assurance: The strut spring compressor provides multiple-layered protection: a 39.4" extended safety chain to secure the springs, an additional stable locking mechanism, and a safety tongue on the clasp to prevent spring detachment accidents. The H-shaped stable base ensures minimal wobbling during operation. For added security, two pre-drilled holes allow you to anchor the compressor to the ground.
