The W-8BEN-E tax form is filled out on screen, in Spanish, in five minutes
A store in Venezuela or Colombia does not need a US company to sell through Mercatren: it needs this form. It is now filled out from the panel and the signed document comes out.
The W-8BEN-E is the form with which a company declares it is not a US company. It is what Google, Facebook or any marketplace asks of anyone getting paid from abroad; downloading it in English, printing it, signing it and scanning it is exactly where most people give up.
Now it is filled out from “My store”, in Spanish and with every field explained, and on signing the document comes out in English, as whoever has to read it expects. It is not sent to any office: it is kept in case someone asks for it. Without it, withdrawals can't be requested — so it's worth doing on day one.
